New Clay Baker and stuck bread

That must have been so frustrating after all the work of getting to the dough to the baking stage. It’s too late for this bread I’m sure, but here’s the trick for getting stuck bread out without ripping it up:

Trying dusting your dough with flour --the top of the dough when it is in the basket, just before flipping it out and loading it into the hot baker. That should be enough to prevent sticking, especially if you have a high hydration dough.

The other thing to be aware of (which of course you may already know) is that the oven beeping that the preheat is done just means the air is 500F but you need the clay baker or Dutch oven to be 500F, which takes at least 25 minutes of preheating, 30 minutes or an infrared thermometer check to be safe.
