Hi Melissa. Just wondering if you milled the buckwheat groats with a home stone mill. When I tried milling with my Mockmill 200, the groats jammed the stones. i had them set too close for a fine mill. After disassembling my mill to remove the jammed groats, i was able to mill at a very course setting, and then several mills at progressively finer settings.

I did mill them in my Mockmill, but the groats were mixed with the wheat berries. I’ll add that instruction to the recipe for home-millers. Thank you for sharing that issue. I’m so sorry you had to clean out your mill!
