Sourdough Book for Beginners

I was one of the lucky winners of Eric and Melissa’s new book, and after some extremely hot days when I didn’t dare turn my oven on, I finally got a chance to bake. My first loaf from the book was the Oat Porridge Bread. I followed the recipe as written, and was rewarded with a tasty beautiful loaf, filled with nice even holes and good oven spring. The directions were clear and uncomplicated, which made for a stress free experience. I highly recommend this recipe, and look forward to trying it out with some different grains.
