Sour dough started needed for recipe

Hey all
New to the “starter” game, i have a sour dough starter(SDS for short) ready, i follow a guy on YouTube all very scientific and well explained. i follow the 1.2.2 method i start with 25g of SDS 50g of flour and 50g of water equaling 125g of SDS. my question is if i only have 125 g of starter and a lot of recipe ask for more should i just up the amount of SDS that i save and maybe up the flour and water. as i said very new haven’t even made a bread yet.

When making a starter you’re given exact feedings. In reality it isn’t written in stone and doesn’t need to be exact. But that is the nature of recipes! Want more starter? Feed it more flour and water.
