A friend of mine is visiting Iceland and posted pics and a short video on social media about rye bread baking there in which a pot with dough is buried in sand and baked over the course of 24 or so hours using geothermal heat. I found a link to the bakery’s website online. Pretty cool! Anyone seen this in action? Or live near a hot spring?

I’ve never seen this however I have heard of rye breads baked at a low temperature for many hours. Trying to recall which one I’m thinking of. Will get back to you. You can try it at home. Hot springs optional!
