Different Sweet Breads

Are panettone, kugelhopf, and kulich the same other than being Italian, Austrian, Ukrainian. I have a special pan for kugelhopf and Ive made kulich in tin cans. A recipe In my book has the Panettone on a stone as a boule

What they call primary batter is the levain. This is an old book so it doesn’t use fancy names or ingredients but everything Ive made comes out good.
