I just wanted to give a thanks to the proprietor of this site regarding making your own starter. I’ve tried before and have never, I thought, been able top produce a viable starter. I finally ordered some from the site (I’ve used Breadtopia’s starter in the past quite successfully, but it would still be really cool to have local,) and discovered that apparently I had it way too thin. Finally, finally after watching the videos I ascertained the problem and NOW I have a good, local starter! Going to try to make my first loaf off this local yeast today/tomorrow. Thanks!
