Wow that is super! I’m curious what your cooking method was i.e. special oven?

No, just a regular electric kitchen oven (and not a very good one at that) turned up as high as it will go with an old Emile Henry pizza stone on the second from top rack. I used the pizza stone for years to heat up cold pizza and just started trying to make pizza recently.

That’s great! Thank you for explaining; I think I need to put my oven rack and stone higher.

It’s those slightly charred parts  So far, I’ve only got them in the grill outside.

That cheese pizza looks great.

Convection fan and broiler are your friends, especially to finish.

I’ve not got convection but can give the broiler a go. I always make 5 pizzas, at least, so everyone gets a ball of dough and makes their own. It gets complicated lol

How did you get the crust so airy?! It looks amazing!

formula for your dough? thanks
Barbara

Basic sourdough recipe at 67% hydration with the addition of a tablespoon of EVOO.

This is naan dough and so I went with more of a pizza flatbread, but I tried the broiler at the end trick - very happy with the browning. Thanks for the tip!

( I had to cater to the no-sauce need of one of my kids)
