Seed sources

Can someone suggest sources for a variety of seeds used in breads? Breadtopia sells flax and chia but I use sesame, poppy, sunflower and caraway. The small bottles in grocery stores are very expensive given the larger amounts I use. Thanks

Dennis,

Amazon sells most of what you’re looking for and would certainly be less expensive than the small bottles. Also most large supermarkets have a ‘Natural Foods’ section where you can buy seeds, nuts, grains, flours, etc. in bulk.

I live in western WA and order from Azure Standard
https://www.azurestandard.com/
in bulk through my local food co-op store.
Hope that helps.

My wife gets all of our seeds and sometimes small quantities of berries from FOOD TO LIVE https://foodtolive.com/organic/ I use a lot of Anise and Caraway seed and when I received the different seeds she bought I opened the Anise and Caraway and was “OVERWHELMED” by the fragrance coming from the packages. There is so much of a difference between the bottles from the store and these it is hard to describe. These seeds dramatically changed the flavor of my ryes that I make.

Everything purchased there is fresh.
