Made this bread on a whim for a holiday party. Came out excellent. No pumpkin ale at the local mart, so chose a hard apple cider with ginger and lemon grass as a sub. Added a bit more brown sugar and swapped the quantities for whole wheat and white flours to keep it a bit lighter. Rose like a charm and took just about one hour in a glass baking pan.
