Grinding nixtamalized corn in Mockmill?

Any one have any experience trying to mill freshly nixtamalized corn in a Mockmill? The manual for the 200 is a little confusing. It says to mill only dry grains. (Got that. I have already ground hope blue into cornmeal.) It define a dry grain is one that makes a loud cracking sound when you break it with the back of a spoon on a hard surface. Then they explain a soft grain is one that smooshes flat when pressed.

Well, the nixtamilized corn falls somewhere in between, more on the dry side of things. They go oh to say that if a film develops (presumably from ignoring the “dry grain only” advice) that you can just run some dry course grain through and it will clean off the film.

Thoughts from anyone who makes their own nixtamal and mills it in a Mockmill?

I have this same question. (I, too, have a Mockmill.) I just learned about nixtamizing corn to make more nutrients accessible. I was going to buy whole grain corn, but first need to find out more on this topic.
