Please be aware that oatmeal contains gluten so these cookies are not gluten free.

Hi Mike,
Many stores now carry oatmeal that is certified gluten-free (packaged in a gluten-free facility), either in their bulk section or packaged. Bob’s Red Mill is one brand that is readily available in stores or online. That is what I use in my own cookies and people with Celiac seem to have no problem with them.
