Flour for "Prepping"; How Old is Too Old?

Came across this discussion in a “prepper” forum I occasionally visit, and thought it might be germane to this community.


I’ve recently opened a couple bags of flour that had been in storage several years, and which had very obviously (by the stink) gone bad.
