Here is a picture of my pizza, using Breadtopia’s live sourdough starter as the basis for the crust. After rolling out I used a little BBQ sauce, and then topped it with chopped, smoked pulled pork and shredded cheddar. The results were sublime! This was my first time using a pizza peel too. Pretty happy with how it all went.
It looks wonderful and bet it tasted even better than it looks! Great first time.
Thanks Benny. Yes, it isn’t very pretty but tasted great. No leftovers! Appearance could be improved with the addition of some colorful veggies. I was anxious to try my new starter, and the pizza peel, so I kind of hurried through the addition of pretty toppings. Also, I need to work on rolling a better circle.
I also tried Pizza at home Unfortunately it got burnt and I was unable to eat…
Keep trying, I burnt my first one as well, but once I figured out my methods I’ve been able to make great sourdough pizza ever since.
I think sourdough pizza might be my last-meal choice! Haha. Well done!
